Steve Olesen brings 35+ years of Florida real estate experience to every property. Having witnessed the toll of major hurricanes — from Andrew in 1992 through Michael, Ian, and Helene — he knows exactly what is at stake when documentation is incomplete.
A certified stainless steel welder trained in ISO 2001 standards, Steve learned early that every detail and measurement matters. That precision carried into 12 years of professional residential and commercial roofing experience across Southwest Florida, where he documented hundreds of roofs before and after storms — learning exactly what insurance adjusters need to see.
FAA-certified and deeply knowledgeable about drone operations, 3D scanning technology, and mobile mapping systems, Steve ensures every New Hope client receives documentation that meets the highest evidentiary standards.

Since moving to Florida in 1992, Steve witnessed firsthand the devastating toll of major hurricanes. From the catastrophic 165 mph winds of Hurricane Andrew on August 24, 1992 — which damaged over 125,000 homes and businesses — to recent giants like Hurricanes Michael, Ian, and Helene, the immense loss and stress that followed these historic storms left a lasting impression.
The realization was clear: property owners needed a proactive solution before disaster strikes. New Hope was founded to provide clients with total peace of mind by meticulously documenting everything they own — so that if or when information is needed after a post-event disaster, comprehensive records ensure rebuilding can happen quickly and efficiently.
By establishing an indisputable record of property and assets, New Hope effectively eliminates stressful litigation by providing objective truth to insurance companies and adjusters.
